Hilary Wili Clothing and Costume Ltd has over 30 years of experience in the industry producing a wide range of period costumes and contemporary garments for the stage, screen, television, advertising, weddings and private clients.
We hold no stock of ready made costumes.
All our pieces are unique, bespoke, made to measure and are individually crafted by our team in our London workroom.
Our reference library and materials are extensive, made up of original dress patterns, vintage magazines and books.
We also have a collection of vintage buttons, buckles and other trimmings that can be used.
Please note that we only make cloth garments.
We do not make props.

MEETING
From there we can discuss your project, you can send over your designs and have an initial meeting if required at our workrooms or your office.
RESOURCING
I will assess the job, discuss any design details and provide an estimate of costs, as well as a time-scale for production. Then fabrics and measures can be supplied by the client or I can source fabrics for you and take measurements.
DRAFTING
All patterns are then drafted from scratch to each specific design and set of measures. After this, a toile/mock up garment can be produced, if required or time allows and then the real garments can be made up to a first fitting stage.
FITTINGS
Fittings can take place at our studio on Wandsworth Road, at your production offices or on set and then the garments can be completed and any final adjustments can be made before delivery or collection.
