Hilary Wili Clothing & Costume Ltd has 17 years experience producing a wide range of period garments. We specialise in making 20th and 21st century men's and women's wear and in particular have a passion for 1940s, 1950s and Western outfits!
We have worked on numerous high profile film, T.V and Theatre projects, including Harry Potter, Stardust, French and Saunders, The Mighty Boosh, Stars in their Eyes, Sgt Pepper for Live 8 and pieces for The Royal Opera House and Mathew Bourne's Swan Lake.
Our private clients have included Kylie Minogue, Dawn French, Lenny Henry, Annie Lennox and Janet Street Porter.

Each item is uniquely produced on a made-to-measure basis. We carry no stock of ready made clothing.
Designs can be taken from a client's original sketches or be inspired by magazine images, film clips or original items. We also have a large collection of 20th century dress patterns and books which can be used as a reference.
Anything is possible, from the most fantastic costume, to a couture evening/wedding dress to a classic tailored outfit.
We take on single garment commissions right through to full costume runs.
We can also alter, repair and copy existing garments.
We are able to offer a quick turnaround if your deadlines are tight or if time is running short to find an outfit for a special occasion!
Our studio is based in Clapham SW4, a short walk from Clapham Common tube.
